  • The USC Upstate/BMW Manufacturing Academic Outreach Camp is in full swing at the George. Campers are using catapults, matchbox cars and kit helicopters to study statistics and test hypotheses.

  • With the theme “Empowering Young Leaders: Be Inspired, Be Informed, Be Involved,” Youth Leadersip Institute students enjoyed a week full of leadership activities and civic engagement opportunities.

  • Business professors Alan Duesterhaus and Frank Rudisill served on the Main Street Challenge selection committee. Winners of the challenge were announced May 22 at The Showroom.

  • More than 30 students who graduated this May were accepted into graduate programs across the country. The university celebrated their accomplishments recently at the Graduate School Sendoff Luncheon.
