Nine Foreign Languages Offered in Evening Classes

Spartanburg, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Upstate’s World Language Institute will offer instruction in nine foreign languages this fall in non-credit, evening courses including Beginning Arabic, Beginning Chinese, Beginning Biblical Hebrew (level 1 and level 2), Intro to Irish Gaelic, Beginning Latin, Beginning Ukrainian, Beginning Russian, English for non-native English Speakers, and Communicating in Spanish.

Classes start the week of October 11, 2010 and run six weeks through the week of November 15, meeting one evening per week. No foreign language experience is required to register. The deadline to register is October 6, 2010 and the cost is $65 plus books and study materials.
