Stanley Moss Receives Nursing Scholarship

Spartanburg, S.C. — The Spartanburg County Medical Society honored University of South Carolina Upstate nursing student Stanley Moss at their December 3, 2010 annual Holiday Gala at the Piedmont Club. Moss is a recipient of the Spartanburg County Medical Society Nursing Scholarship at USC Upstate. The scholarship is funded by the Spartanburg Medical Society membership and awards $2,500 a year. The criteria is as follows: declared nursing student in the Mary Black School of Nursing, Spartanburg County resident, minimum 3.0 GPA, must have completed 90 credit hours, financial need (as defined by the Department of Education); and completion of the FAFSA form.
Moss, a junior, resides in Spartanburg. He is majoring in nursing and has a 3.48 grade point average.
