USC Upstate University Singers and Chamber Choir To Perform Free Concert

The University of South Carolina Upstate University Singers and Chamber Choir will present “An Echo in My Soul: Songs of Hope, Heart and Home” on Friday, April 22 in the Performing Arts Center Theatre. The program begins at 8:00 p.m. with an instrumental prelude beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The choirs, under the direction of David C. Guthrie, will perform music from a variety of styles including classical works, folk hymns and spirituals, contemporary pieces and music of the Renaissance. The concert will also feature performances by guest instrumentalists and will be accompanied by Lance Bastian.
