USC Upstate’s Watershed Ecology Center’s monthly “Going Green” Community Series is held in the Spartanburg County Library from 12:15 – 1:00 p.m. in the Barrett Room.

On April 11, 2011, we’ll discuss Rain Barrels~Rain Water Collecting: What is a rain barrel? How expensive is it to make a rain barrel? How much water can you collect?  Do they attract bugs? What can I use the water for?   As part of this program not only will we answer the above questions but also learn the many benefits of collecting rain water.
