Spartanburg Garden Club Council Garden Tour & Flower Show To Benefit Campus Arboretum

The Spartanburg Garden Club Council will be having a Garden Tour and Flower Show, Saturday, June 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The garden tour features four gardens as listed:

Cindy Meeks – 405 Overlook Court, Spartanburg.  Garden contains both sunand shade with a natural flowing grade down towards a wide creek.

Dan O’Neal – 222 Beechwood Drive, Spartanburg. Featuring Bonsai trees that are a combination of art and horticulture.

Maralyce and David Eubanks – 15 Timms Road, Roebuck.  Outdoor living at its best with a natural beauty, an outdoor kitchen complete with stone fireplace, and porch with connecting walkways.

Pat and Don Burton – Home is on 15 acres of hardwood forest with pond and water garden, plus many garden rooms featuring birdfeeders, birdbaths, and birdhouses. Truly a woodland garden with plants abundant.

The Flower Show which is part of this tour will be held in the Jennifer Evins Lobby of the David Reid Theatre at Chapman Cultural Center on 200 East Saint John Street.  The theme for the flower show is “Spotlighting Chapman Center.”  All designs will be interpretations of the visual arts and performing arts at Chapman Cultural Center.  The public is invited to enter any horticulture as it will also be featured. 

Tickets are $20 for both garden tour and flower show. They may be purchased at Hatcher Garden and Woodland Preserve, Carolina Gardening World, Wilds Birds Unlimited to name a few.  Tickets for flower show only are $10 and may be purchased at the door at Chapman Cultural Center on the day of the event.  Proceeds will benefit Hatcher Garden & Woodland Preserve, Susan Jacobs Arboretum at USC Upstate and other local gardens.
