Summer Sociology Program in Landau, Germany
Dr. Brigitte Neary, professor in USC Upstate’s Department of Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Womens’ Studies, spent several weeks in Landau this summer to establish the foundation for a sociology study abroad course in Germany. Dr. Neary, a native of Germany, plans to offer this three credit-hour course during the first 2012 summer session, May 28 – June 27. The program will immerse students in the society and culture of Germany, and particularly the rich setting provided by the Rhineland Palatinate location. The Universität Koblenz-Landau will serve as the host campus. Individuals interested in participating in the program can contact Dr. Neary at bneary@uscupstate.edu or (864) 503-5834.
