On Thursday, October 20, 2011 we will celebrate the National Day on Writing and showcase the talents and expertise of local teacher consultants from several Upstate counties. Along with the wonderful workshop sessions we have planned, keynote speaker Barry Lane will be on hand to entertain and inform us.
This year’s conference theme is “Writing is Risky Business, Right? No, Write!” and we have a spectacular program put together for you. Please see the Conference Program for the agenda, concurrent session titles and descriptions. Registration begins at 3:00 p.m. with refreshments, and we will have The Reading Source and Hub City Bookstore on hand selling books during the conference.
If you haven’t yet registered for this event, don’t worry! The link for early registration at www.uscupstate.edu/swp will be open through Wednesday, and we will have on-site registration available the day of the conference.
