Interested in an exciting Maymester tour to Spain?  USC Upstate faculty member Catherine Canino is leading a travel experience to the Iberian peninsula where students will visit Madrid, Toledo, Sevilla, Córdoba, Granada, and Barcelona.  It´ll be 11 days of exploring the key attractions in these major Spanish cities while imbibing the culture of Spain in plazas, tea houses, museums, and restaurants.  In addition, travelers can add an additional 3 days in Bilbao (in beautiful northern Spain) if interested.

The program provides an overview of Spain as a land of many cultures, extending from the sunny South with its Moorish influence, to vibrant Madrid, to cosmopolitan Barcelona with its unique architecture and dialect.  The travel program is scheduled for May 13-26, 2012, and includes round-trip flight, bus transfers, train ride, hotel accommodations, guided tours, daily breakfasts and some dinners – all for about $3,400.  For more details and to sign up, please contact Catherine Canino at ccanino@uscupstate.edu or stop by the Center for International Studies located in CLC 202.
