Let’s go to Sicily, alumni! The Center for International Studies is pleased to announce a 10-day trip to Sicily this fall for alumni and friends of USC Upstate. Led by Professor Catherine Canino, the “Crossroads of Sicily” trip includes a castle tour led by a countess, visits to 12th century cathedrals, and tours of the temples of Juno, Hurcules and Jupiter. Stroll through museums, boutiques and cafes, learn to make ricotta cheese, and visit architecture treasures rivaling those of Athens. Enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of Greek theatre, public gardens, vineyards, citrus groves and fishing villages. Cities on the itinerary include Palermo, Monreale, Cefalu, Agrigento, Catania, Siracusa, and Taormina, with an optional four night post-tour extension to Malta.

Special savings apply for alumni if you book your travel soon. Rate information and a detailed itinerary are included on this brochure. Contact Dr. Canino at ccanino@uscupstate.edu or (864)503-5657 for more information.
