Gordon's film "The Nipper" wins best editing award

USC Upstate student Adam Gordon’s film “The Nipper” won the juried award for best editing at the recent Expecting Goodness Short Film Festival, organized by Hub-Bub, on March 24, 2012.

USC Upstate partnered in Hub-Bub’s Expecting Goodness Short Film Festival at at The Showroom on 149 S. Daniel Morgan in downtown Spartanburg.  The seven films adapt short stories from the collection Expecting Goodness (Hub City Press, 2009).  USC Upstate student Adam Gordon made one of the entries. USC Upstate contributed significantly to the festival, as film professors Ray Merlock and Peter Caster served as two of its three judges for the event, and USC Upstate Media Services provided extensive technical assistance in the production of three of the seven films.
