What's Your Type?

Do you need an elective for Maymester? Are you interested in typography? Lisa Anderson, associate professor of graphic design, is teaching a course that has no prerequisites, and that you don’t even need software or design skills for. SART 398 will meet May 2-25 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and will explore:

Type taboos
Letterpress printing
DIY typefaces
Illustrating with type
handmade/hand drawn type
Computer generated fonts
Historical uses of type …. and much more!
