SPEAKER – Dr. Robert McCormick, Associate Professor of History and Chair of the Dept. of History, Political  Science, Philosophy, and American Studies at the University of South Carolina Upstate.
HIS TOPIC – “May the Lord Keep Down Hard Feelings”…The Woodrow Evolution Controversy and the 1884 Presbyterian Synod of South Carolina

SPEAKER – Dr. Paul Grady, an Assistant Professor of History at University of South Carolina Upstate and author of Anglo-Spanish Rivalry in Colonial Southeast America, 1650-1725.  He is also editor of the forthcoming book Piedmont Portraits : Unexplored Moments in the History of the Nineteenth Century South Carolina Upcountry.
HIS TOPIC – “Robert H. Reid and the Reidville Schools”
