USC Upstate Offers Foreign Languages in Evening Classes

The University of South Carolina Upstate’s World Languages Institute will offer instruction in eight foreign languages this fall in non-credit, evening courses. Classes start the week of Oct. 22 and run through the week of Dec. 3, meeting once per week on the USC Upstate campus. No foreign language experience is required to register.

Language classes scheduled:

  • Beginning Arabic: Tuesday 6-7 p.m.
  • Beginning Chinese: Level 1 & 2, Thursday 5-6/6-7 p.m.
  • Beginning Latin: Level 1 & 2, Monday 5-6/6-7 p.m.
  • Intro to Irish Gaelic: Tuesday 6-7 p.m.
  • Introductory French: Monday 6-7 p.m.
  • Conversation French: Monday 5-6 p.m.
  • Beginning Italian: Level 1 & 2, Tuesday 5-6/6-7 p.m.
  • Spanish for Health Care Personnel: Monday 6-7 p.m.
  • Beginning Hebrew (Biblical): Level 1 & 2, Monday 5-6/6-7 p.m.
