Two Sessions – 8:30 – 11:30 am or 1:00 – 4:00 pm
Administration Building – Room 116
These 3-hour workshops are designed to ensure that you and your students get the most out of Read&Write GOLD by focusing on both the functionality as well as practical application across instructional settings to meet each student’s unique needs. Read&Write GOLD’s customizable toolbar integrates reading, writing, studying, and research support tools with familiar applications (e.g. Word, IE, Adobe Reader) that are used every day. Come see how it can help you!
We will have professional trainers from Read & Write Gold literacy software on campus to provide a morning and an afternoon workshop. This software is available on every computer on campus, and you can receive your own copy for home use from Disability Services. The software includes several assistive technology applications, including text-to-speech and speech-to-text features.
Faculty and staff – you can learn how this software can help you create more accessible course content and help you access content of all types for your personal use. The attached flyer provides some additional information and more details. The is especially valuable information for tutors and advisors.
Please contact Margaret Camp to reserve your spot in either the morning or afternoon workshop. (firstname.lastname@example.org or (864) 503-5199).
