Tracy DiSabato-Aust, popular gardening author and speaker, will headline the University of South Carolina Upstate’s annual S.C. Arbor Day celebration on Friday, December 7, 2012.  The day’s events will include a presentation for garden enthusiasts starting at 11 a.m., and a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. complete with Q&A and door prizes. Tracy DiSabato-Aust of Horticulture Classics & Consultations will deliver her presentation with the focus on “The Well-Designed Mixed Garden.”  DiSabato-Aust has earned international acclaim as one of America’s most entertaining and knowledgeable garden writers and professional speakers. Her experience includes stints at Longwood Gardens in the U.S., The Montreal Botanical Garden in Canada, the Kalmthout Arboretum in Belgium, and Knightshayes Court in England. She earned a B.S. and M.S. in horticulture from The Ohio State University. DiSabato-Aust is a frequent guest on national garden television and radio gardening shows and has contributed articles or been featured in numerous national and international magazines, books, and newspapers.
