Chinese high school freshmen visit USC Upstate
On Feb.15, the Watershed Ecology Center staff of Dr. Jack Turner, Beth Button, Lanita Wilson and Cindy O’Hare, welcomed 13 students from Handan No. 1 High School in China’s Handan school district, for a discussion on pollution and other factors affecting the environment. These students are attending classes at the Spartanburg High School Freshman Academy, and living with host families for two weeks.
