On February 13, 2013 Jim Charles, interim dean of the School of Education and professor of English education, presented a paper titled “Teaching American Indian Literatures to Non-Indian Students: Lessons (Un)Learned” at the 34th Annual Conference of the Southwest Popular Culture and American Culture Associations in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
