USC Upstate student receives award at 1st Annual Collegiate Invitational Art Exhibition

Nine USC Upstate students presented 10 works in the 1st Annual Collegiate Invitational at the Spartanburg Library, which is on exhibit until March 8.

Kyle Rogers received an award certificate and $100 for his self-portrait painting. Other students who entered work include:  Ashleigh Payne, Emily Phifer, Aubrey Long, Charie Williams, Halliey Nichols, Beth Copeland, Miriam Jackson, and Brandon Lopera.

In addition to USC Upstate, the 1st Annual Collegiate Invitational Art Exhibition includes works from students at Anderson University, Bob Jones University, Converse College, Greenville Technical College, and Lander University.

The Spartanburg Library is located at 151 South Church Street in downtown Spartanburg.
