Due to extreme cold temperatures and potential poor weather forecasted for Saturday, the schedule for the Firehouse Subs Spartan Invitational softball tournament hosted by USC Upstate at Cyrill Stadium has been changed.

In addition to the already scheduled games for Friday, Upstate will now play George Washington Friday night at 8:00. That game was originally scheduled to be played at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. With that game being played Friday night, the game between Winthrop and Bowling Green, originally scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. start on Saturday, has been moved to 4:00 p.m. start Saturday afternoon.

The rest of the tournament schedule will remain the same. Any additional weather related changes will be announced at the appropriate time.

2:00 p.m. – George Mason vs. Upstate
4:00 p.m. – Samford vs. Winthrop
6:00 p.m. – George Washington vs. Bowling Green
8:00 p.m. – George Washington vs. Upstate

Saturday, February 16
10:00 a.m. – Samford vs. George Washington
12:00 p.m. – Bowling Green vs. George Mason
2:00 p.m. – Winthrop vs. Upstate
4:00 p.m. – Winthrop vs. Bowling Green

Sunday, February 17
9:00 a.m. – Bowling Green vs. Samford
11:00 a.m. – George Mason vs. George Washington
1:00 p.m. – Samford vs. Upstate
