The University of South Carolina Upstate’s School of Education will host two drop-in open houses to share information about graduate level programs. The first will be held on the Spartanburg campus on Thursday, March 21 from 4 – 6 p.m. in the J M Smith Board Room in the Health Education Complex. The second will be held at the University Center of Greenville on Thursday, April 18 from 4 – 6 p.m. in the Teaching & Learning Lab.
USC Upstate’s graduate programs in education are designed for certified teachers who wish to pursue graduate courses leading to a master’s degree, recertification, certification in an additional area, and courses for professional growth and development. Courses are scheduled to accommodate the busy schedules of working professionals. Internet and hybrid courses are also available.
The open houses will provide information on the graduate programs admissions requirements, financial aid, and program of study framework. They will also highlight the fast-track master’s degree programs, a convenient way to earn a master’s degree in early childhood education, elementary education, or special education for the visually impaired in as little as 18 months. School of Education faculty will be at the open houses and will be available to answer questions about the programs.
Online reservations are requested for the open houses at www.uscupstate.edu/graduate.
