Grow with the Flow: Improv Skills for Communication
In any type of business, the ability to be creative, flexible and intuitive is critical. Yet there are few tools to develop the capacity for intuitive and creative action “in the moment.” That’s where improvisation training can help! Led by experienced improv performers with experience in higher education, our leadership workshops bridge the skills and art of improvisation with communication practices to enhance your professional toolkit.
DuMore Improv’s “Grow with the Flow” workshop takes you through interactive improvisational exercises to demonstrate how using basic improv skills every day can open up new professional connections and creative pathways. Learn to make better offers to your students and coworkers and accept new ideas from unexpected places.
In this workshop, you will:
- Discover how the rules of improvisation can help you “play better with others” and achieve more collaborative results.
- Learn techniques that enhance your ability to listen for new ideas and serve your students more effectively.
- Feel more confident presenting your ideas, fielding questions and thinking on your feet.
