Spartans Used Balanced Attack to Down Western Carolina

Four Spartans scored in double figures and USC Upstate used a balanced attack to defeat Western Carolina 72-58 Saturday afternoon in the Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament from the M.A.C. Center on the Kent State campus.

The Spartans finished competition in the Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament with a 2-1 record after beating Niagara on Thursday before falling to tournament host Kent State on Friday.

USC Upstate returns to action Monday at 7 p.m. when the Spartans host Bob Jones University in the team’s home opener from the Hodge Center.
