Sharmayne_EdwardsBrittany Starling and Sharmayne Edwards scored 19 points each for USC Upstate Wednesday evening, but High Point recorded the game’s final five points en route to a 75-69 victory over the Spartans in non-conference action at the Millis Center.

Upstate falls to 2-1 on the season while the Panthers improve to 2-1 overall.

The Spartans return to action at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14 when they face second-ranked Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
