Hot Shooting Lifts Kennesaw State Past Upstate

Kennesaw State shot 42.9 percent from three-point range and held off USC Upstate in the second half on its way to a 68-58 victory Monday night from the KSU Convocation Center.

Kennesaw State led 46-27 early in the second half before going scoreless for over seven minutes to allow USC Upstate to pull within eight points midway through the half. After a free throw from Nate Rucker, Ty Greene hit a three-pointer from the wing to pull the Spartans within six with just over eight minutes remaining.
