TJ Olesczuk went 5-for-5 with four RBIs and Winthrop pounded out 20 hits en route to a 13-5 victory over USC Upstate Tuesday afternoon from The Winthrop Ballpark.

USC Upstate (4-5) pushed across a run in the top of the second on an RBI single from designated hitter Brian Thompson to take an early 1-0 lead. First baseman Zach Krider led off the inning with a single up the middle and moved to second three batters later on a single by Daniel Seeba. Krider came around to score when Thompson dropped a single into right field for his first RBI of the season.

USC Upstate returns to the diamond Friday at 4 p.m. when the Spartans host Bryant to begin a three-game series from Harley Park.
