Upstate Women’s Tennis Falls to Campbell

The USC Upstate women’s tennis team suffered a 6-1 setback at Campbell Saturday afternoon in non-conference action from the Nisbet Tennis Center.

Campbell won the first two doubles matches of the day to sprint out to a 1-0 lead. The Camels then went on to win the first two singles matches to open up a 3-0 advantage before Isabel von Stryk picked up a 4-6, 7-5, 10-5 victory at No. 1 over Karolina Chernaya to tally the first point of the match for Upstate.

Campbell was victorious in the final three singles matches en route to the victory.
