USC Upstate Administrator, Students Speak Out on Controversial Book

Out LoudA USC Upstate administrator and students are speaking out about a controversial book about a gay radio show, after a South Carolina legislator proposed a nearly $20,000 cut to university funding.
The book, “Out Loud: The Best of Rainbow Radio,” is required reading for freshman at USC Upstate.
On Wednesday, the House budget committee tentatively approved a spending plan that would cut $17,142 from USC Upstate’s budget.
