The Spartanburg Little Theatre is offering student tickets to 9 to 5: The Musical at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 13 at the Chapman Cultural Center.
Student rush tickets are $10 and are available in person at the Chapman Cultural Center box office or by phone at 542-ARTS.
With music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, 9 to 5: The Musical is a hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era. Pushed to the boiling point, three female co-workers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. They conspire to take control of their company and learn there’s nothing they can’t do — even in a man’s world. Outrageous, thought-provoking, and even a little romantic, 9 to 5: The Musical is about teaming up and taking care of business.
$10 student rush tickets are only available for the Thursday, March 13 8:00 pm performance. Tickets to the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday performances are $17 for students, $25 for adults, and $24 for seniors.
9 to 5: The Musical is suitable for audiences 13 and above, due to mild profanity, simulated drug use, and adult humor.
