Upstate Drops 13-1 Decision to Furman

Greenville, S.C. – Matthew Quarles pitched six scoreless innings as the Furman Paladins defeated USC Upstate 13-1 Tuesday evening in non-conference action from Fluor Field as part of the BB&T College Baseball Series.

The Spartans fall to 5-8 on the season while the Paladins even their record at 6-6.

The Spartans return to action tomorrow night when they travel to Boiling Springs, N.C. to face Gardner-Webb at 5 p.m.
