Dylan Parker earned his first career win and lead the USC Upstate baseball team to a 2-1 victory over College of Charleston in non-conference action Wednesday night from Harley Park.

Parker, whose previous career-high was 6.1 innings, pitched a complete game and allowed just one run on 12 hits to go along with two strikeouts. Parker is the second Upstate hurler to throw a complete game this season, as southpaw David Roseboom pitched the first one of the season March 29 against Lipscomb.

Upstate returns to the diamond Friday at 3 p.m. when the Spartans travel to Highland Heights, Ky., to begin a three-game series with Northern Kentucky.
