September 11, 2014 at 9:16 am

The Thursday Afternoon Acting Group (TAAG) at the University of South Carolina Upstate has begun, but it’s not too late for children ages eight to 18 to participate. This after school theatre program meets on Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Studio Theatre at USC Upstate.

TAAG will perform the holiday classic, “A Christmas Carol,” Dec. 11-13 with USC Upstate’s Shoestring Players. The cost to attend is $100 for the fall semester, which includes costumes and makeup.

Rich Robinson, associate professor of theatre at USC Upstate, teaches the TAAG classes with the assistance of two theatre students. To register for classes or for more information, please contact Rich Robinson at (864) 503-5621 or rrobinson@uscupstate.edu.
