USC Upstate Offers 12 Foreign Languages During Evening Classes

The University of South Carolina Upstate’s World Languages Institute will offer instruction in 12 foreign languages this spring in non-credit, evening courses. Classes start the week of February 16, 2015 and meet once per week on the USC Upstate campus. Classes will end the week of March 30, 2015. No foreign language experience is required to register.

Classes are:

  • A Taste of French (Thursdays, 5 – 6 p.m)
  • Beginning Arabic (Wednesdays, 7 – 8 p.m.)
  • Beginning Biblical Hebrew – Level 1 (Mondays, 4 – 5 p.m.)
  • Beginning Biblical Hebrew – Level 2 (Mondays, 5 – 6 p.m.)
  • Beginning Chinese – Level 1 (Wednesdays, 5 – 6 p.m.)
  • Beginning Russian – Level 1 (Wednesdays, 6 – 7 p.m.)
  • Beginning Spanish Conversation (Mondays, 4 – 5 p.m.)
  • Beginning Ukrainian (Wednesdays, 6 – 7 p.m.)
  • Introductory German – Level 1 (Mondays, 5 – 6 p.m.)
  • Introduction to Irish Gaelic (Tuesdays, 6 – 7 p.m.)
  • Introductory Italian (Thursdays, 4 – 5 p.m.)
  • Introductory Japanese (Thursdays, 5 – 6 p.m.)
  • Introductory Latin- Level 1 (Mondays, 6 – 7 p.m.)
  • Introductory Latin – Level 2 (Mondays, 7 – 8 p.m.)
