The University will be closed on Thursday, February 26.
The Cafe will open at 11:30 a.m. for lunch.
- Due to the inclement weather the Spartanburg Writing Project/ Authors@ Upstate Visiting Writers Series event “One Winters Eve: An Afternoon of Inspiration” featuring Ron Rash has been postponed. This event was originally scheduled for Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 3:30-6:30pm in the CLC Ballroom.
- USC Upstate Streetball Classic will be postponed until another date
- Friday’s baseball game has been canceled. Two games will be played Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
- Piedmont Science Fair awards postponed until March 7.
Winter Weather Assistance Number
The Spartanburg County Office of Emergency Management is providing a toll free number for Spartanburg County Residents to call should they have a non-emergent winter weather issue. This number is 1-800-226-0539. Should anyone experience a non-emergent winter weather issue we ask that they call 1-800-226-0539 and leave a message. All phone call messages will be returned as soon as possible. The purpose of this hotline is to help alleviate the non-emergent phone call load placed on 911 during major storm events while also addressing the needs of our citizens.
