The Office of Student Life at the University of South Carolina Upstate will host Faith Fair on Wednesday, March 18.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on the Lower Quad of the campus and will showcase the diverse faith-based groups on campus, as well as in the community.
“We saw a need for a faith-based showcase on campus,” said Doug Peters, assistant director for multicultural programs at USC Upstate. “This raises awareness for faith beliefs and different faith cultures on campus. It also provides an opportunity for our students to learn about local faith organizations in the community.”
Peters said this is the first year the Faith Fair has been offered and he hopes it will allow students to find organizations where they can feel accepted and be strengthened in their personal faith and beliefs.
Faith-based organizations in the community are invited to participate in the event. To register, visit http://www.uscupstate.edu/studentaffairs/forms.aspx?ekfrm=43556.
