The USC Upstate men’s tennis team returns home from a three-match road trip to host Lamar Sunday at 3 p.m. from the USC Upstate Tennis Complex.
Upstate enters the weekend led by the five singles wins of senior Viktor Selander and junior Ramon Simonetti. Junior Jamie Yates ranks third on the team in wins with a total of three.
In doubles action, the Upstate duo of Ignacio Garrido and Matt Bennion are 3-1 thus far this season and have won three consecutive matches. Selander and Yates are also 3-1 and play primarily from the No. 2 position.
Lamar has won two of its last three matches and arrives in Spartanburg with a 7-6 overall record after turning in a 6-1 victory over Bryant March 10.
