As academic advisor for transfer students at USC Upstate Greenville Campus, Brenna Bosma-Krass works to help students transition to USC Upstate and reach their goals.
“Whether a student is coming directly from another university or returning to the classroom after a 20-year absence, faculty and staff at USC Upstate are invested in them and their success,” she said. “Obtaining a degree is hard work and requires time and determination, but it is definitely worth the commitment and sacrifice.”
Despite what some might see as a challenge, Bosma-Krass recognizes the important role she plays in advising and guiding students of all ages, traditional and non-traditional.
“Having worked in higher education for nearly 10 years, I have a strong background in advising and articulation,” she said. “I enjoy working with transfer students, in particular, because each student has their own unique story that they bring to the academic environment. They support one another in and out of the classroom and have a strong desire to success and give back to their community. I consider it a privilege to help students complete their educational and career goals.”
Prospective students are welcome to meet with Bosma-Krass as early as possible to plan their transition to USC Upstate Greenville Campus. Contact her at 864-552-4187 or email@example.com.
