The Spartans enter the weekend featuring three of the top hitters in the A-Sun in infielders Zach Krider, Daniel Fickas and Erik Samples. Krider paces the club with a .364 batting average and is second on the team with 28 RBIs despite missing nearly a month earlier in the season.

Samples owns a .318 batting average and is third in the A-Sun with 16 doubles. The Hampton, S.C., native is also third on the team with 27 RBIs and second with 42 runs scored. Charlie Carpenter leads the team with 44 RBIs and needs six runs driven in this weekend to become the first Spartan in the Division I era with 50 in a season.
Jacksonville has won back-to-back A-Sun series and stands in sixth place in the league standings with a 9-9 record. The Dolphins were scheduled to host USF on Tuesday, but inclement weather in the area forced the game to be postponed.
Dolphin senior Angel Amendolare leads Jacksonville and ranks second in the A-Sun with a .368 batting average to go along with 40 RBIs. Junior Connor Marabell is first on the team and fifth in the league with 46 RBIs.
