The Spartanburg Little Theatre’s production of Disney’s Mary Poppins will have its last four showings this weekend at Chapman Cultural Center. The family musical is the first in SLT’s 70-year history to run for three weeks, playing to full houses since opening.
The production garnered a rave review from online publication Carolina Curtain Call, describing it as “stunning” and “heavenly,” and praising leading actress Tiffany Morton, who plays the title role, as “absolutely perfect… no less than sensational.” The show has also garnered significant social media coverage and excitement, following in the footsteps of the theatre’s successful summer fringe series.
Only a few tickets remain for the Sunday, Sept. 27, matinee at 3 p.m. Additional performances will be Thursday, Sept. 24, Friday, Sept. 25, and Saturday, Sept. 26 at 8 p.m.
Mary Poppins is sponsored by George and Susu Johnson, Morgan Corp. and Security Finance. Tickets can be purchased through the Ticket Office at Chapman Cultural Center. Adults are $30, Seniors are $27 and Students are $20. Discounted tickets for groups of 10 or more are available. For tickets, call (864) 542-2787 or visit ChapmanCulturalCenter.org.
