Join us to hear from QEP faculty and students as they share their experience & practical advice from their work using emerging technology and digital experiences in teaching and learning. As usual, the salon event is designed as a set of lightening talks with new speakers rotating every 10 – 15 minutes.
Each semester, we host a Salon event as a feature of our SACSCOC Quality Enhancement Plan goal to create a technology fluent campus. This is part of our overall project – the Student Technology Enrichment Program – aimed at engaging students around and building digital literacy. This fourth year marks a very important time in the 5-year life of the project, as we anticipate the writing of our QEP Impact Report. We applaud the efforts of the 44 faculty members – full time & adjunct – who have participated in the required Faculty Development Institute and created redesigned technology intensive versions of their courses, in keeping with the overall goals of the program.
Come by on Friday to hear sharing about this very important work.
Feel free to drop in at your convenience – even for just a few minutes!
QEP faculty scheduled to share include:
- Bree Kirsch & Lola Bradley
- Cassandra Jones
- Maria Monteso
- Tasha Thomas
