You’ve probably heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Those are usually the two biggest shopping days of the year. But the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving is #GivingTuesday and that is a day to give.

#GivingTuesday is a global movement and an opportunity to make a difference. The USC Upstate Foundation would like to encourage you make a difference in the life of our University and in the lives of our students during #USCUpstateGives. Here’s how it works:

  1. Make a donation to the USC Upstate Foundation on Dec. 1, 2015 and your dollars will be matched.
  1. Inspire other to give! Please consider a post on social media stating why you support #USCUpstateGives. Think of it as an “un-selfie.” Be sure to include #GivingTuesday and #USCUpstateGives in your posts.

Together — students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni and friends of USC Upstate – can make a difference this holiday season.

On December 1, show your gratitude for everything USC Upstate has done for you! To make a donation, visit
