Spartanburg Regional History Museum to Feature Textiles Exhibit

Spartanburg Regional History Museum’s upcoming exhibit, January 28-April 16, will feature panels from the SC State Museum’s traveling exhibit, Textiles: A History of Innovation and Community.  Also featured will be items from SRHM’s own collections that highlight Spartanburg’s role in the American textile industry.  This program is funded in part by The Arts Partnership of Greater Spartanburg, its donors, the County and City of Spartanburg and the South Carolina Arts Commission which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts and the John and Susan Bennett Memorial Arts Fund of the Coastal Community Foundation of SC.  More information including programming and events associated with the exhibit can be found at or by calling Julius Dargan at (864) 591-5596.  Spartanburg Regional History Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 1-5 p.m.; closed Monday.  Admission is free.
