The USC Upstate volleyball team is the 2015-16 Division I women’s volleyball statistical champion for digs per set after finishing the season with 17.90, it was announced this afternoon by the NCAA.
Upstate led the Atlantic Sun Conference this season in digs per set, holding a 1.78 digs per set mark over second place Jacksonville. The Spartans also finished the year first in the conference in digs, service aces and service aces per set.
Along with leading the nation in digs per set, Upstate ended the season first in team attacks per set after averaging 40.06.
Individually, Madison Haake was fifth, and first in the league, in triple-doubles with six.
