USC Upstate Operating on Two-Hour Delay on Monday, Jan. 25

January 24, 2016 at 9:13 pm

The University of South Carolina Upstate will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, Jan. 25, 2016.

This means students should report to class at 10:00 a.m. and University offices open at 10:30 a.m.

Please allow extra time to arrive for classes and use caution in parking lots and walkways due to some ice that may be difficult to see. USC Upstate Facilities crews have cleared the main entrances to each building so please use those for your safety. The campus community is advised to use extra caution around Tukey, KHVARC and the north side of Smith as there is no  sun exposure and it is still very icy.

For students who may have difficulty getting to class, please make direct contact with your professor.

For faculty members who may need to cancel their classes, please be sure to be in direct communication with your students.

In times of inclement weather, students and employees are urged to use their best judgment to determine if traveling to campus will present a safety hazard.
