Take the survey.

The Way to Wellville Initiative in Spartanburg is seeking volunteers who are passionate about grassroots efforts to assist in the initiative’s annual survey.  Volunteers will go out to community locations to engage patrons in participating in the Way to Wellville Survey.  Surveys will be completed on paper.  However, if the volunteer has a tablet or laptop that they would like to take out with them, there is an electronic version of the survey.  Volunteers are needed from January 5th-15th.  Volunteer hours will be broken into two-hour windows, with volunteers going to various sites in pairs.  Volunteers are able to complete as many hours as their schedule permits.

Volunteer Responsibilities

  • Responsible for engaging potential participants in a sensitive, non-abrasive manner.
  • Responsible for assisting participants with any questions or needs they may have regarding the survey.
  • Responsible for ensuring all completed hard-copy surveys are given to the Neighborhood Engagement Coordinator at the end of each shift.  If multiple shifts are being completed the same day, hard copies can be turned in at the end of the day.
