Jane Brown, bursar, and Fred Scott, director of Facilities Management, have completed the first of two management development tracks.
Learn, Educate and Develop, or LEAD, is designed to assist supervisors by enhancing their leadership skills. LEAD I is a curriculum of basic topics which provide the fundamental skills needed to manage the University’s workforce, and LEAD 2 is a series of courses that enhance those skills. While crucial for new supervisors, experienced managers will discover new approaches to leadership and fresh ways to manage people effectively through these timely trainings with subject matter experts.
Congratulations to our first recipients for LEADing the way to employee engagement and retention through renewed pursuit of our strategic goals of excellence in human resources and workforce management.
