Chicago, Ill. – USC Upstate rising sophomore Brendan Brundage and rising senior Jordan Miller were named to the 2016 Midwest Collegiate League All-Star team, the league announced recently. Brundage and Miller are both members of the Joliet Admirals and will play for the MCL Blue All-Stars.
Brundage is batting .358 with 39 hits, four doubles, a triple and 19 RBI in 109 at-bats in 27 games played. He has also made one appearance on the mound, striking out a batter in a scoreless inning of work.
Miller was named an All-Star after hitting .326 with 31 hits, nine doubles, a triple and 21 RBI in 95 at-bats. His 21 RBI are second-best on the team. On the mound, Miller is a perfect 4-for-4 in save opportunities with six strikeouts in 7.1 innings.
The MCL All-Star Game will take place on July 12 at 7:20 p.m. in Whiting, Ind.
