The University of South Carolina Upstate will host its annual New Student Convocation Wednesday, August 17 at 5:00 p.m. in the G.B. Hodge Center, followed by a dinner on the Main Quad, located adjacent to Hodge Center.

He is in his 44th year of teaching in the University of South Carolina System, having taught the past 41 years at USC Upstate. His exceptional leadership of the theatre program has earned it national and international recognition and fostered collaboration that established an exclusive partnership with The Rose Theatre and the American Conservatory Theater both in London, England.

**** Editor’s note: The freshman class will assemble into a U-shape to have a class photo taken at 4:30 p.m. on the quad behind the Stockwell Administration Building.
