The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning Book Club is an informal, supportive way for you to connect with other Upstate colleagues to discuss specific reading material and to share personal thoughts and responses to various teaching topics and classroom techniques. We have created our own Upstate CETL Wikispaces where book club members can write comments, descriptive research and personal narratives and recommendations on what devices and techniques should be used to demonstrate and support the acquisition of course content.
Our 2016 Book is “What Best College Teachers Do” by Ken Bain, Ph.D.
Fall meeting dates are October 19 and November 16 from 12-1 p.m. in Media 234. For more information, contact June Carter at firstname.lastname@example.org.
