The University of South Carolina Upstate’s School of Education will host two open houses in November to share information about its graduate level programs.
The first will be held at USC Upstate’s Greenville campus located at University Center Greenville from 4 – 6 p.m. Thursday, November 3. The University Center Greenville is located at 225 South Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville.
The second will be held on the Spartanburg campus of USC Upstate from 4 – 6 p.m. Thursday, November 17 in the Health Education Complex, Room 2004.
USC Upstate’s graduate programs in education are designed for certified teachers who wish to pursue graduate courses leading to a master’s degree, recertification, certification in an additional area, and courses for professional growth and development. The majority of courses are available online to accommodate the busy schedules of working professionals. USC Upstate also offered a Master of Arts in Teaching: Visual Impairment Program for individuals who are seeking initial certification in the area of visual impairment education.
The open house will provide information on the graduate programs admissions requirements, financial aid, and program of study framework. It also will highlight “Read to Succeed” literacy courses offered each semester and the master’s degree programs, a convenient way to earn a master’s degree in early childhood education, elementary education, or special education for the visually impaired in as little as 18 months. School of Education faculty will be at the open houses and will be available to answer questions about the programs.
